We are observing the situation of the fine contemporary art of Asia very carefully since about 15 years.

In addition to works of Japanese and Vietnamese artists we principally concentrate our pogramm on the fine contemporary art of China.

Our visits of the artists in their studios and interesting conversations and long discussions with them support us in getting an idea of the scene there and to gain detailed knowledge in the field of oil- as well as of ink painting and we can observe the changes in the oil- and ink painting scene in China on the spot.

The further development of Chinese ink painting is of special interest for our gallery. But due to the fulminent advance and acceptance of avant-garde in the Western scene of art it is actually put to the background.

It is one of the main tasks of our gallery to present this for China very own and highly developed art in its actual originality and to observe its further development.
